Wireless RC help?

I'm building a smoking exhaust system for my BF jetpack based on a tutorial on the Dented Helmet. It consists of a solenoid powered by 6 volt DC batteries and CO2 tank. The wires go to a toggle switch on the right gauntlet. What I want to do is open the solenoid via wireless RC. I'm sure all the RC /electronics experts might be able to help me. How do I go about doing this? Parts needed, advice , Info? It would be appreciated.

sounds like a servo and a reciver to operate the connection on the solenoid. been out of the rc game for quite awile but you can get that stuff real inexpensive on CL.
