(WIP) (Repaint) Rubies helmet to ROTS

Got my helmet back from my friend today. Here's it side by side with my other, unmodded Rubies.

I know the dome isn't sitting right, anybody have tips on cutting the peg/getting it to sit right?

Dome problem aside, I'm amazed at what flat lenses and a solid black paint job do for this helmet. Completely takes your mind away from the fact that it's asymmetrical.

Some time has certainly passed, but I never reported back after I posted photos of my finished helmet.

Here I am wearing my full suit in 2017. I think it looks very decent for a lightly modded Rubies suit. I'm currently working on a more accurate one.

Is the helmet your working one gonna be a 3d print, a fibreglass one, or your from your own sculpt?
