Hey gang. Been years working on my KITT car, gathering items, doing work where i can, and painted parts etc. Long slow process. But since this journey began in 2012 with the purchase of the car finalized.. it began to take shape. Finally after nearly a decade of working on it. This year will be the final restoration finish, i hope.

Paint initially is 20 years old. I really needed touch up on the rear bumper, so it was painted. Side skirts , needing a new black out panel, which Will be done too.

Overall pleased with what I had started with to where it will be.

Items changed or rebuilt mechanically are many. From tires and brakes, to transmission and engine, radiator and belts, hoses, wires and distributor. New scanner, interior shifter, radio, speakers, carpet and seats, headliner, privacy plate.

Interior will be done over the upcoming months for paint and body work for the custom dash.
But it has been a challenging journey.

The interior does not have a whole lot. But it is getting there.
Center console had been made for the " now" but will.be getting the full lower 4th season array.

Besides the 1966 Batmobile (which couldn't jump over semi trucks) this is right there among the top of my all-time favorite cars. "KITT, I need ya buddy!"

Do you ever just sit in the car and press buttons for the hell of it? Because I would

Hey, nice work!

What's under the hood? 305 + 700r4?

I like the switch to a digital screen. That seems way more practical than the season 3/4 screen, never mind the season 1/2 double screen.

A KITT car is on my bucket list. But I would probably stray from prop-accuracy on the interior dash and compromise it for driveability.

Wowwww........so much work went into this !!! Amazing, I love it.....enjoy the drive....
