I like the detail of the Crisis Core version so I chose that one.

Measuring Tape
Ruler
Triangle
Compass

I used wood for frame
10407335_10206183417681257_7359816879287651827_n.jpg

Then for the handle, I made 2 holes where the hand guard part of the frame will insert, hopefully making it sturdy.

Just used PVA glue and nails to assemble the frame

I also used PVA to glue the rubber sheet to the wood

Can't resist to try it

I used additional rubber layers, making a "ladder" so that when I put another foam, it will be slanted, just like the blade part

For the wing detail, I was choosing between using PVA glue or just rubber foam, I wanted to get a rounded feel so I chose PVA.

HOWEVER, it was an epic failure so I just decided to use rubber sheet again. oh, and I added more details to the handle.

When you need to glue small pieces with small gaps or distance to each other, say horizontal lines, you can do the following steps.

1. Draw your pattern and put tape at the back.
2. Carefully score the lines using a blade, i use xacto knife.
3-5. Carefully "peel" the unwanted parts
6. Put glue where you need to stick it on, and put the entire piece in place.
7. Remove the tape and then do a thumbs up.

Then, I primed it using Acrylic Paint - Primer Grey

After 3 layers of primer, I then started masking for the main color.

I LOVE this project, and the pics throughout the process are awesome. I may have to try to put one together myself one day, when I actually have room to display it. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Awesome job so far!

Hello, it rained here and I just had my chance to paint yesterday.

Just need to paint the hole part with steel grey and find me a leather lace for the handle and I'm done!

Hello, just want to say I had to put this project on hold because of work (different country). Once I come back to Philippines, I'll finish this.
