I love the Interceptor's dagger-wing design and always wanted to do a 181st build ever since I first saw it. Nothing really all that special here save a basic build with the addition of the bloodstripes on the panels. The model is primed in Stynlrez gray with two coats of a 80/20 mix of Tamiya XF-19 Sky Gray and XF-18 Medium Blue. The wing panels were done up in X-18 Semi-Gloss Black; stripes are XF-7 Flat Red & chipped with the base color mix. I also dirtied them up somewhat with an XF-69 Nato Black wash and some pastels. I'm satisfied with the results so far; one thing I have to keep in mind is that Tamiya's clear flats tend to darken the color (this is why the cockpit ball still looks lighter than the wings, even after it's received the final color).

Enjoy!

Excellent!

I love that color scheme and it looks like a veterans tie for sure

Thank you! I figured that a veteran pilot's craft would bear a bit more wear and tear, certainly more battle scars than a plebe fresh from the academy who gets his mint TIE destroyed in his first battle lmao.
