Hi all I know there has been a bunch of these but here is one more: Got all my parts before Christmas and wrapped them and had my kids give them to me on Christmas morning, tons of fun. So I've read through all threads and dove in last night, here is where I have gotten, I stripped down My Eumig, and my Seagull, pulled the small knobs off the Six Sixty, I am making a hero version Or my version of the hero prop,After consulting with a member about the large knob between the stunt and hero, I decided to incorporate the squiggly back plate to my large knob with the red center, mounted my small six sixty knobs, I also put the three screws in each of the Six Sixty knob base plates a bit tedious but looks nice.
I have the lens plate coming from Russ rep. and my other Six Sixty that was being worked on for me, a Transition box was being made from the camera by another member, here is the link: http://www.therpf.com/f9/macrobinocular-transition-box-wip-170844/ he is molding it and will have those available in the future. So I should have this all finished up next week. I used the back rings on the large knob for mounting so it rotates freely, and the small knobs function as well.
Thanks for looking, been wanting to build this for a long time!!!!

DUDE! You have to be stoked. I am impressed. I am at the point of the build as well so I can feel you excitement. You build is looking really good. Did you feel any of the build so far was difficult? I have to find a tutorial to strip down the Eumig?
Looking forward to the rest of your progess.

Started On My Lens Plate, With proper measurements from trooper I dove in I wanted to be able to screw the lenses on and off but with the lip on the threaded lens plates from the 660 I had to dremel them down so the lenses would be the proper distance apart. After its finished it will go off to Trooper to mold, if he likes it he'll incorporate it in his Macro kit.

Here is a good one gives you some help to stripping down the Eumig, but I kind went my own way:http://www.therpf.com/f9/wip-lukes-hero-macros-done-ish-116619/ My main advice is just take your time, Not difficult but small screws get a good micro screw driver set.
Have fun,

man im so jealous, i dont even have my first build done, i tore it all apart to make molds for the kit .
by the way....kalimar buttons should be up :)
builds look great !! the boxes look very nice

Ok Knobs up, they function so Up or down no problem, also mounted the Seagull large knob on second Macro but I used the Seagull small knobs on the side for that one, not forking up another $600 for a third 660.

I was happy to hear that Trooper really liked the lens plate, and decided to mold it for his kit ,Awesome, Very cool because it is threaded so you can just screw in your real lenses or his Resin Lenses, sweet, So He molded them and I got them back with a couple of Resin ones as well, they work great, Here they are in the mounting process, and the finished, Just the side box and my "E' Plate omage for the view finder!!!
