Update:

The winner of the Blade Runner Blaster Building Contest hosted at www.propsummit.com is Timmay!

Tim's entry into the contest was a Snub that was purchased as a kit in 2001 from Rick Ross. Tim took this kit and turned it into a beautiful piece of art. While there had been many entries that where beautiful and very accurate, Tim's work kept us coming back for more.

While it was not an easy contest to judge, and everyone really did a great job, Tim's blaster stood out among all the great entries! You can see all the wonderful entries here:

Here is a look at what Timmay! built!

Also, a big thanks to Noeland for dedicating his custom illustration and to ToothTech for donating a replica scale from Blade Runner to each person that entered!

Congratulations to Tim!

Win a Rick Ross PKD Magnum Kit!!!!!

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to drop a line here for all of you Blade Runner fans, or for those that like a good challenge :) Propsummit.com is running a Blade Runner Blaster Building Contest!

We are asking that people submit pictures of their best or favorite builds for a chance to win a Rick Ross 2006 PKD Magnum kit. Your submission does not have to be a new build, you can even use a blaster you built years ago.

There is also a custom Blade Runner illustration that will go to the winner as well. (Courtesy of Noeland)

Please know that the entries can be of an exact replica or your own interpretation. Be as dedicated or as fanciful as you like!

For more information, please visit www.propsummit.com

The direct link to the contest and all the information you need for it is at:
http://propsummit.com/viewtopic.php?t=310

Please know that you must either be a member or register to submit your Blaster.

Good luck everyone!!!

Just wanted to give an update that this is well under way! Three people have submitted and many more are on the way :)

I hope those who may not submit an entry will stop by and lend your support to those that have worked hard at creating some wonderful blasters!

Good luck everyone!

Re: Blade Runner Blaster Building Contest!! Win a PKD Magnum Kit!!

DEADLINE EXTENDED!
Entries must be in by:

Some great great entries, this is going to be real tough, but we are hoping more people entering will make it even tougher :)

Re: Blade Runner Blaster Building Contest!! Win a PKD Magnum Kit!!

Just to let you know how great the prize is, The PKD magnum is based on a limited Build Up Rick Ross created back in 2001 and had only made 5 of those. This one is different and has new engraving, but like it's predecessor is based off the body of the PKD1 and grips of the PKD2. It is a totally original design for the BR universe just as the snub is. Very few of these kits are being made and the run of them is pretty much up. I am not sure on total #s for these but it is well less than 100 since Rick is working out of a studio apartment rather than model studio as he did in the late 90s-2001. This is a kick A kit...

Congratulations to Timmay!

The combination of unique color scheme and the added changes like the ivory grips and medallions definitely made it stand out!
