Ok, this necklace is making me mad. I can't decide whether the last piece on his necklace is a piece of eight or a silver sand dollar pendant.

Here are two of the best reference pics I can find.

The left pic is the front, the right pic is the back. The concave shape makes me think it is a sand dollar charm. However, I can't find any sand dollar charms without holes in them. Then I got to thinking that it could be a piece of eight. However, I haven't been able to find one with a cross on the front that is as wide as the markings on the pic on the left.

1. Shiva Eye shell pendant
2. Tibet beeswax/amber pendant with silver and turquoise base.
3. Chinese coin with square hole on metal ring.
4. ????

Looks like those "sea biscuts" that they sell in shell shops to me. I think they're dequilled sea urchins. they look like a thick sand dollar and they don't have holes. Maybe there's a pendant of one...

I can't find any sea biscuit pendants. Is there another name for a sea biscuit?

I have to agree that it is a sand dollar. Perhaps a straight piece of jewelry either gold or silver.
