From Round 2's website.
The USS Enterprise from Star Trek '09 is due out late this year or early next. It is sized, regardless of scale, to be equivalent of the NCC-1701 Classic in 1:1000. So you can call it 1:2500 or 1:1000, whatever your interpretation of the so-called "official" scale is.
More current projects under the Polar Lights label:
* U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A 1:1000-scale (due out early 2010)
* U.S.S Enterprise NCC 1701-A 1:350-scale (released May 2009)
* Enterprise NX-01 (released in October 2008)
* Klingon D7 Battlecruiser (released in October 2008)
* U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 (released in August 2008)
Yes, you DID read NCC-1701 Refit in 1:1000. This looks like a gem of a kit. (The panel detailing decals will be toned down for production.)
Also, Round 2 owns the AMT brand. The following kits are to be reissued:
* Vulcan Shuttle (due out December 2009)
* U.S.S. Enterprise Space Ship Collector’s Edition (due out December 2009)
* Mr. Spock (due out in October 2009)
* Mr. Spock Collector’s Edition (due out in October 2009)
* U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701-E (released in February 2009)
* U.S.S. Enterprise Space Ship (released in 2008)
* U.S.S. Enterprise Space Ship Limited Edition (released in 2008)
Round 2 is planning to re-release many more of the old AMT/ERTL Star Trek kits in future. They are not just repopping these, Round 2 is upgrading and improving all of these classic kits with new decals, stands, magnetic attachments on the Vulcan shuttle, etc.
The Big 1:350 NCC-1701 Classic is in the works. According to Round 2, most of the plans have been received and are being reviewed. They are taking their time on this one because it needs to be perfect.
