well the real mg34 cost about 3500.00 and a hyper firm , they wont ship to canada. id love to have a hyper firm mg34.

You see demilled real MG-34s on eBay from time to time (or at least you used to) in the $500-$800 range. Good luck trooping with one though.

Yeah...trooping with a real one would be a niiiiice workout :lol

(not even thinking about any problems with it being legal ot illegal)

I would have been worried about such things even 7 or 8 years ago... but in a post-911 world... whew... No way. One overzealous rent-a-cop could make for a very difficult time.

there are aslo gun forums where you can find a MG-34 for 800 once in a blue moon :unsure

Matsuo offers resin copies of an MG 34, and I believe he's had zero problems sending to countries outside of the U.S. He just ships alot of the parts individually, difficult to tell what it is then.

I'll probably do a solid Mg34 sometime this year...I've been getting a lot of interest lately.

An intermediate one, as I like to call it. Not so detailed as the Mg42 kit, but not so simple as a solid, one piece casting...something in between.

I'll do a front barrel section, a receiver section, a top cover, a pistol grip, and a stock. This way if someone wants to upgrade with real steel parts they can.

It's a ways off, I need to fulfill other commitments first then I'll look into procuring a donor gun.
