Why are the new preds such pansies?

I was under the impression that in AVP that it wasn't thier first hunt but rather the ultimate test to prove them worthy of wearing the mark of the clan.
Scar was just awesome how he sensed the pred behind him and cut its head off and used the shiriken like and apendage. If the writers were trying to
make it look like it was thier first hunt then yeah, but the story made it look different to me. What your saying makes sense though.

Its hard to say, it could be that they were young bloods or that they were on a hunt to earn their clan mark and become leaders of some sort. The problem for me is that no experienced hunter/soldier/giant alien wrecking machine would ever toy with their prey the way that the Preds in AVP did. They didn't behave in a manner to me that says experience.

I didn't like AVP at all, but I have to say, it was a lot better than the new RR movie and his lame bobble head predators.

Interesting that's what I thought coming out of the first screening of the movie lol I will still get the Hot Toys release of the Latin babe /droolsssssss

Maybe more viewing of Predators will work it on me, I don't turn my head away as much in AVP 1 as I used to lol

For AVP1, I found it more enjoyable if rather then trying to view it as a human or pred story... I instead view it as a pred story from the perspective of a human story. A crossing between the two with the preds as the lead characters.

This works well since the preds aren't really seen without the humans nearby.

You've managed to revive a thread from 2010?? Well...kudos for using the search option, or just plain searching for stuff till you found it! An "iPod Predator" is a cookie cutter Predator that is exactly the same as the ones prior to it and it isn't original at all. It means it has no creativity or customization at all...
