Why are my alumilite casts soft and bendy?

I'm making molds out of blue stuff, i let it dry, and then use equal weighed parts of 2-part alumilite and some glow powder... but the results end up soft and bendy even days after curing. Thank you very much in advanced for your help.

Not sure what Blue stuff" is.......... How much of the powder are you using? Is it from Alumalite as well? Some resins dont react too well with powders or dyes. Is your type compatible with them? Clear resin or colored? Is it a 1: 1 mix by weight or volume?

It's Oyumaru, mold making clay. Where can i research if the glow powders are compatible with my resin? I'm mixing 1:1 by weight.

Try searching Google with the name brand of the glow powder and Alumilite to see if other have had this issue. Is your Alumilite resin old? I had a similar problem quite a while back with stuff that sat on the shelf for a year and a half. Alumilite told me that their stuff has a shelf life of no more than a year, and that includes the time the product spent in the factory, and at the store. The stuff will eventually solidify better, but it will take over a week. Shaking both A and B bottles before you pour may introduce more air bubbles, but it might make the parts more homogenous.

Which Alumilite resin are you using? They in differ hardness, some are quite flexible. Also adding fillers or other additives can slow down the cure time so it may be fine after another week or two.
