Who should be Predator 3 director?

Predator 3 will happen no doubt. Who do you think FOX should get to be the director? My selections are Paul Verhoeven, Steve Wang or Sandy Collora. All of these men are excellent story tellers. Verhoeven directed Robocop, starship troopers among others. Steve Wang and Sandy Collora are both Directors..know and love the character and have vast FX design knowledge. Who would you like to see take charge before AVP kills the franchise?

M. Night Shyamalan wouldn't show the pred til the last 30 seconds of the movie.

M. Night Shyamalan, Um, I dunno! "Signs" was good! Even then the aliens
were all CG, NO CG PREDS! And almost everything else that he has done
disappointed me! Thus I fear he could really screw up the franchise. If it were
possible I would want the original director of both P1 and P2, John McTiernan!

I would have to go with Bensin on this one you can't go wrong with McTiernan, and Ridley is just as good I would love to see maybe a team up between the two for P3 though.

Ridley Scott.

He made the first Alien movie scary as hell for it's day, and has also directed some awesome movies with an excellent plots.

I think he would make the Predator scary again.

But serious, I don't really mind, as long as the script is good and the mood is right.

Mr. Shyamalan would do great, if only he wrote better endings... But the thrill is there in Signs, I had goosebumps with the main shots (first time that the alien walks on screen in the news footage and the scene in the basement, both were very effective...)

I have one issue with Scott and his films: while the quality overall is top knotch, his films seem to drag on and on and on without proper pacing. Thus making the plot slow and numbing.

Ridley Scott would totally reinterpret the franchise (his ALIEN is easily the best of the series imo) and it woud be fascinating to see his interpretation and Michael Bay would bring some heavyweight action to it (are you listening Paul W Anderson?) but i doubt either would be interested unless Fox really took the project seriously.
Paul Haggis w/Shane Black to write and Chris Nolan to direct.

I agree Michael Bay, but he has to back away from the action just a tad so we can see what is going on. I liked Transformers, just sometimes it is too close up on the action to really appreciate it.

Maybe even James Cameron would be good too. He did an awesome job with T2!

Id like to see Disney handle P3, if they can kill Bambi's mother in cold blood imagine what they could do with Predator!!!!!!

Id also Like Robin Williams in the lead role, as a suburban father pushed over the edge by his annoying kids, who he sends to space camp,only for space camp to be attacked by a lone predator, so he flies out and kicks the preds ass!!
