Who owns a fiberglass SST Morita?

I posted this at the movie props forum but didn't get much response so I thought I would post here.

My fiberglass Morita is one of my all-time favorite props. I know of about a half dozen others who have one including rudolpht, got maul, borg drone, lemarchand, and moonsault2. Just wanted to see who else out there has one. Here is a pic of mine sans sling.

here is a comparison of my hero to my stunt... it doesn't show in the pic so well, but in real life, there is no comparison at all...

... and mine:

When I got it, the shell still had some gun powder and blood residue inside - so I couldn't resist to replace the dummy parts with a real steel Mini 14 and Ithaca shotgun :D

Here the appropriate outfit:

Here's mine - I need to take some better pics

Since there's no airsoft mini-14 I modified a marushin M1 carbine airsoft to fit and replaced the resin shotgun cast with an airsoft M-37

Needed some minor repairs when I got it. More pics here:

Does anyone make a replica of those flak vests in your photos? I dont have the rest of the costume but I need a custom vest and that looks awesome. Do you guys know anyone that makes the vests alone?

By "flak vest" do you mean the rubberized armor? You can buy screen used armor pretty easily. Reelclothes has them and you see them on eBay from time to time.

Here is another question. When I bought my Morita, the bottom trigger guard was broken and the lower trigger was missing. I rebuilt the trigger guard area and am having the upper trigger cast to make a copy of the lower. How is the lower attached? From what I can see, it appears that the lower trigger is glued to the left half of the trigger guard and then the right half is carved out to accept the thickness of the trigger. Is this correct? Can anyone provide some detailed pics?

they all look superb..

one day i will upgrade my rubber morita to a hero version :)
If any of you decide to sell, please let me know

Nathan :)

I'll take some pix later as my Morita is in bits at the moment, but what you've said above is perfectly correct.
