Who is ANOVOS?

Well I think that since you now have the Trek license, the young kirk jacket would be a great option ( I know I would want one)
I've also been waiting for years to see someone finally start doing licensed X-Men suits.

How about providing hard-to-source Trek uniform fabrics? I am stoked about your costuming, and the ST XI uniforms, but if you're looking for future projects I know a fledgling costuming community who could REALLY use some accuratly died accurate fabric for the gray yoked, red, gold, and blue shirted Nemesis/Later DS9 uniforms... ahem... me included. :$ Of course if you also wanted to make those uniforms I'd not be upset.

I am sure you'll be getting some of my $ at some point reguardless.

Unfortunately, licensing precludes fabric runs from being done which is also why the other project of mine died as well. Sorry !

Well, that just means you will have to make every Trek uniform ever and I'll need the "Starfleet Admiral Level Uniform Package" where you can buy your ST09 Uniform, your Monster Maroon, your TMP Admiral and your TOS Command Uniform as a package deal with 360 installment payments !

:love:lol

I know someone already has the license for leather Dark Knight goods. Could you pick up the license for the high end replicas? Im thinking Joker related stuff would sell very well.

But the underlying premise of wearing your fandom is something I have always wanted to do from a personal standpoint. I don't like walking outside with my "I love Star Trek" jacket but would prefer to wear something more subtle and those "in the know are in the know." With our other upcoming license, this type of product has been a lot easier than Trek in regard to finding that one thing.

The one thing you probably could wear out are the pants since they are functional and really kinda cool looking ! I welcome any ideas to add to our think tank!

Joe,
Allow me to add my congratulations as well! I've followed your projects in the past with excitment but never more than now! You guys just have to be over the moon and I can't express how happy I am for you to have had this happen. Congrats

As for the idea of wearing ones fandom...this is something I've been musing about for some time now, and I'd love to share some of those ideas with you sometime. With ecclectic fashion taking off, fashion designers who are also genre fans like Marc Echo, and the success of vendors like ThinkGeek, I think the idea of infusing fandom into everyday fashion is something who's time has come. It would be something fun and cool all at the same time.

Take care and again congratulations!

John

That's why you make Trek Lounge wear... You're around your house, you dress like Kirk... no problem, just don't go mowen your lawn as a red shirt, libel to get the blade stuck in your chest, or a foot cut off or something :lol

Hey Jose and Dana,

Congrats on your new endeavor......

And Art....You`re still a ruthless dictator. :lol (inside TDH joke)

Thanks Jodo!!! Great catching up with you today.

That would be 'liable"

Libel is a "a written or oral defamatory statement"

Just trying to help.

Y'know... there have been lots of rumblings of the "dark times" of propdom being upon us and that the heyday of the hobby having come and gone.

Now we're seeing a surge of small, fan-run start-up companies that want to produce the stuff we've been screaming about for years and years- even a lot of obscure, non-mass-market stuff like Firefly props. It really feels like we're at the begging of a new chapter for our hobby.

Best of luck to Anovos! :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

I totally agree with this statement. We, as fans and collectors, have more options available now than ever before. The best times are still ahead. We just need more people like Jose and Dana to help make that happen!
