White leather for clone belt?

Does anyone know where I could find a wide white leather (or light colored that I could dye myself) or perhaps thick vinyl belt? I am planning to use it for my clone belt and add the boxes to it. The one I have now is attached to the abs of my clone but since I am working on a Keller costume I need it to become more flexible. This way I can wear it over the tunic that Commander Keller wears.

Looks like you can get raw products if you can do wome leather working.

Your best bet is to buy the parts from Tandy Leather and make the belt yourself.

2" belt blank item #44518-00
White dye item #2100-18
Neatsfoot Oil item #2260-24 (treats leather so it doesn't dry out and crack after dying)
buckle item #1519-02- you can hide this under some detail or you might want to use velcro

The only other option I can think of is to look in women's belts at department stores for a 2" white belt.

There is a place here in OKC that sells white leather for like 10 bucks for a 52" x 3 3/4" strip to me. I can run by and see if they have any leather in stock for it if you would like.

If the leather is thick and sturdy I would really appreciate it if you could do that
