Which way does the motor coil part go on a Han ESB blaster

So I'm putting together a Han ESB blaster and I have the motor coil part that is supposed to go on the back side of the gun, but I don't know if I should mount it with the motor lettering towards the back or front of the gun.

Can anyone help?
