i'm after some grips, i've looked on ebay but the only seller doing them is in australia and they want £7 a set! is there anywhere that sells them in the uk? or in the us? ideally i'd like to just get a roll of it to cut myself. is this a "found" item? or are they custom made?

That's about the price you're going to find them for no matter where you get them.

must be able to get something similar cheaper than that surely. must be some kind of T shaped rubber seal that exists

the ones from au are flatter on the attaching surface. i bought a set and they didnt work too well. the ones from blasttech.com work better but the adhesive tends to slide around. it can be bought 5 dollars US per foot. they also have precut sets a little less expensive
i just take the adhesive off and glue 'em on

£7 a set isn't bad.
You can get cheap rubber ones from Blast-Tech or Custom Saber Shop.
Both are in the US. A grip set will run you $10-$13 from either place depending which saber you're doing.

Gino's are high end super accurate grips. Hard plastic like on the original props.
