where to buy a snowtrooper costume?

i've looked and cant seem to find anywhere that sells the snowtrooper armour. i've searched and found that dan laws is the man for it, but where do i get it from?! and how much is a set?

whatever you do stay away from 502smallblock on eBay. he's a known recaster & the reason a lot of 501st & prospective 501st members in KS & MO can't get parts

I don't think it's a recast of on of either's helmets, it appears to be from a much older maker's helmet.

Either way, stick to either Laws or moncal. I personally have a Laws kit and couldn't be happier.

I got mine from MonCal. Great kit, great quality, easy straightforward build with excellent instructions and reference photos included even.

I have a Laws kit and LOVE it. But I've also got a ton of stuff from MonCal for both my Scout and Zam so I'm a huge fan of his as well.

I also have to say that I got burned badly on my first Snowie kit very early in my 501st "career". It was a recasted hunk of junk that was virtually impossible to assemble. I ended up giving it away to a teenager in the local Fan Force to play around with. Although the backpack was never built as there was no way to make it work. Getting a Snowie from either Laws or MonCal is worth every penny.

Usually between $450 and $550 for the armor parts.

IIRC smallblock's armor is either a recast of the Double S Props armor or an old Impact suit. I'd have to look at my notes to be sure.

I'd have to say, that after everything was built and finished, including blaster, I spent about $750 total on the entire costume
