i want to make a pistol stand for my mk23 socom like the one out of Chuck (below) i figure the length of the perspex part to be 5500mm long and all the sites i've looked at seem to have a max length of 3000mm or did find one place that did 5000mm length tho. anyone have any ideas? 3mm thickness.
any help appreciated

It's been a while but I used to order it from builders merchants i.e. Jewson, also from a local commercial sign company. They were cutting it to size also for a little extra cost. I was using it for display cabinets and plinths which was for games days and trade shows.
Maybe this can 'spring' some ideas for your search :)

thanks for the advice, just emailed a company and may be able to get it made cheaper than buying a sheet that is big enough for the length hopefully they can do it

5500mm is 18 feet. Looks more like 550mm to me which is a more manageable 21.6 inches.

you need a perspex/acrylic specialist imo, someone that forms and cuts perspex day in day out - theres lots around - but go for the smaller companies.

the smaller business will more than likely have offcuts and will sell you some of that for a quick bit of cash in hand - or you will get lucky and get it for free
