When was the last time you watched STAR WARS?

About 5 years. I have gone this long and now have a 3 year old son, going to wait a bit more and have a big star wars watching party together when hes ready.

I get to watch ANH every couple of weeks. My three year old daughter loves ANH more than the others. We currently watch Star Wars Revisted. It's better quality, colours and for me how it should be.
In order it's.
ANH
ESB
ROTJ
I'm not really into the others.

Watched the whole series with my then 10 year old daughter about a year ago (the original non-cgi'd original movies and the three 'other ones')
And I highly recommend the experience. It actually gave meaning to the new trilogy, and especially the third movie is a hart-breaking experience. Allthough watching it 1-6 takes some of the excitement of ESB out as we allready know who Vader is, so watch them 4-5-6-1-2-3...
The 'new' trilogy is not as bad as we want it to be, the pod-racing is incredibly awesome, and Anakin's turn towards 'the Dark side' is very well done. Cgi not so well done...

For me its:
1. ESB
2. ROTS
3. ANH
4. ROTJ
5. TPM
6. AOTC

I watched them all in order of the story with my two boys (5,7) about two weeks ago. It was very cool to watch them experiemce the movies for the first time. I was fortunate to be alive for every movie release date. Unfortunately, I had to wait for those dates and feed off Bantha Tracks news letters with anticipation in the mean time.
The 5 year old is now a die hard fan like myself. He and I watched ESB again just the other day.

The three of us just watched the TV versions of T1-T3 on Spike the other day as well.

yeah I watch them all the time, mostly the OT. I'm currently building a Jango Fett so AOTC has been playing for a while now.

also I quite like TPM, like most people it was a little dissappointing at first but after a while I really warmed to it. Now I can say "I even like Jar Jar!".

but as much as I do enjoy the newer material there are still moments where I roll my eyes at the dialogue. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad when you really love something.

I watched ANH and ESB last weekend.

I remember watching old VHS copies that were recorded from HBO. The picture was so awful, but I watched those tapes over and over and over again.

Fastforward to present day when I can pop my DVD into my PS3 and watch on my 42" screen with surround. I saw the trilogy so many times with a terrible picture, even though now I have viewed the DVDs many times, it just looks so amazing to me every time!

Almost every other SciFi movie has something to do with humans from earth in the future, but Star Wars has ZERO to do with us. Its a galaxy far far away. Total escapism.

I watched A New Hope a few nights ago after Lucas and Chris Nolan had a Q&A. An absolute dream evening for me.

I watched ESB a couple months back when I was visiting my dad, the occasion being that neither of us had ever watched it in HD before and he had it DVRed from Spike. Before that probably 2 years since I last watched Star Wars, then ROTJ, ROTS, TPM, and then Episode II, which I haven't seen since it was in theaters. Hard to believe it's been almost 10 years now.

I haven't seriously watched Star Wars since since the Betamax Video tape days.
Right now I'm paused somewhere near the middle of 'watching' Star Wars (the non special edition) and I noticed a few peculiar things I never noticed before.
I never knew that Jawas had furry hands and I never noticed 'spittle' shooting out of Peter Cushings mouth during that scene where his character decides to "test this stations destructive power" on Alderaan. That one was funny.

I watched Empire again last week for the zillionth time :lol
Star Wars is the film I can always turn back to! Never gets old, NEVER! :love

In order:

ESB
ROTJ
ANH

*what prequels* :confused

Saw ROTS rifftrax a few months back. It was the best of all the Star Wars rifftrax I think.

"That's right R2. He did look like a microwaved peep." Bwahaha :lol

I generally see the OT every year or two. It's funny that I hated ESB as a kid because "There's no Death Star in it." and "The Bad Guys win."

Now it's my favorite, probably because I only saw it a handful of times as a kid and now I'm not jaded from repetition.

I expect a MAJOR surge on this topic in September then the Blu Ray is released. You know you are gonna buy it. Stop resisting!
