What's the deal with Dengar's head???

Vader knew who he was looking for, maybe he hired a guy he knew was motivated.

What do you think he did, put an ad in the Pennysaver?

He did warn "no disentigrations". Clearly he had history with some of them.

Actually he was warning Boba Fett no disintegration's, Fett was known for being remorseless and that flamethrower on his gauntlet could easily do THAT job

Necro posting.... Damn funniest post I've seen in a while... Considering someone on the RPF told me I make a good Dengar !! :D

If you check the expanded universe guides, you'll find that just about everyone present in the Cantina in Star Wars is related to one or more of the main characters, as are many if not most of the background characters, like the guy in Empire running around in panic with an ice-cream maker after Lando tells them the Empire is taking over Bespin ... There is no such thing as a random bystander in Star Wars, everybody knows everybody.

edit: Is it just me... Or does he look a tad bit like Johnny Cash?

Voiced by Simon Pegg. :lol

He was on The Clone Wars and it is a Turban.

His facial wrappings, used in his younger days as a fashionable turban , later helped to cover and hide his cybernetic implants and scar tissue. During an assassination he would often cover his mouth and nose, hiding his identity and adding to his intimidating demeanor.

Which is why I find the "expanded" universe actually shrinks it.

slightly off topic, but wasnt dengar the bounty hunter han ran into on ord mantell (han refers to this run in at the beginning of empire, which is why he had decided to split from the rebels)? does anyone know where i can find that story? was it ever told in a book or comic?

That one showed up in the comics, yes. The old Goodwin/Williamson comics, actually. They were reprinted in the early 90s by Dark Horse and are, I think, in one of the various Dark Horse omnibus collections now.
