What's on your workbench? (no Star Wars, Marvel or DC stuff)

What am I looking at, are you building a telecaster from scratch ?

yes :)
I quit my job at the end of last year in Belgium and moved back to my wife family farm in the south of France to try to establish myself as a luthier and a prop maker with my wife. we are moving forward but have a huge amount of work to do on the house first. We finished our main workshop but still have one to build and the house to renovate to live there.
I explained a bit in another thread if you are interested:

cheers :)

Trying to build a complete and accurate Inception PASIV briefcase. It’s several dozen sub-projects; lots of printing, machining, cutting, assembly, electronics. Some I’m farming out, some I’m doing myself. Lots of obscure parts; one gear took me 6 months to find. Trying to have it all done by December. Learning lots of new skills, trying to be clean and precise.

Not movie related, but here what was just on my workbench, finally completed. Hardened steel replicas of a pair of 16th century gauntlets.

These originals are in the Wallace collection in London. While the gold survives, the original surface finish is long gone, but when made, they had a heat blued finish described as "peacock blue".

My copies are of an equivalent alloy of steel, 1050 and it has been heat treated (hardened) similar to the originals. The gloves are hand made copies of 16th C. examples as well.

I've been making some light-'em-up Infinity Stones based on Garage Art's excellent video tutorial. I know several other folks here have made similar ones, and have probably also done a far better job than I have LOL... but this is the first time I've ever messed with tinting clear resin, and I think they've come out pretty great so far. Certainly good enough for me! :) The yellow Mind stone is curing in its mold right now, and I'll be pouring the red Reality and orange Soul stones today.
