What's On My Workbench?

Thanks Doug, but the Wolf is really bugging me...too much yellow. Going to spend all day on Monday repainting the Wolf, and getting the airbrush work done on the P1s and Elder.
 
I've been spending more time over at the RPF and after seeing some very cool stuff, I had to get a Stormtrooper and Iron Man helmet.

I got this this in the mail today:

And completed building it in about 3 hours:

The mouth isn't done - I have to paint grey in there, but I just briefly put the vinyl on. Interesting little note about those air intakes on the mouth: they are kitchen sink faucet tap aerators! Made me laugh...

Next up is Finhead's Iron Man helmet/bust. It comes raw:

I still plan on painting 6 heads next week since I have 4 days of vacation to paint and get them done. Stay tuned...
 
I took a small break from Pred stuff to finish the Stormtrooper and work on painting Iron Man:

She wanted to try on the Iron Man, but it reeks of fiberglass and paint, so that was a no-go. Found the right paint colors - just have to glue the little bits on and assemble. Taped off the mouth area to paint the gold part:

Only a small bit of paint came off when I peeled off the tape, but that's easily fixable:

The trooper bucket is from Mark and is the AP version I believe. I have no idea what that means tho haha! The Stormtrooper helmet was easy to assemble and literally took about 3 hours from start to finish. Same with the Iron Man - trim, prime and paint. For the next three days I will be finishing my 6 Pred heads...wish me luck!
 
Put some gray weathering in the seams on that Iron Man bust. The real suits had it. Other than that, you're doing a Frangadakingly good job on the stuff.
 
Thanks for the info! I kinda put it on the back burner until the LED's for the eyes get here. I wanted to get all the P1 heads done first, but instead I finished the Wolf, P2, and Elder heads. Will post pics in about an hour or so...I need to eat some suppa!

Started the P2 with a parchment base coat and then moved on to the orangy/red pattern:

The left side of Wolf's face is too dark...I think I'll add some lighter green to make it more three dimensional:

Any critiques are welcome. It was my first time painting a P2 and after staring at the crown for so long, it reminds me more and more of a spider!
 
I think the P2 looks great so far, can't wait to see how you finish it up. They all look great, really keeping you busy.

On a side note, at least we now know how the Predators get fit...they use a Bowflex...
 
As much as I love the P1 I can't wait to see the P2 finished solely because it's your first time doing one, and I know you won't disappoint.

I really like your P2 and Wolf paint work. Like every one saying I can wait to see it done. I really need to get me an airbrush...
