I dry-brushed some lighter green on top of the scars...I think it looks better now and not like a lump of charcoal:

I really like how you did the coloration on the damaged side, it does add more depth. I also like the coloration around the top of the crown too and how you added a bit of gray [it looks like that to me] to other areas to show depth too. Your paint up looks great Jay!

I know, I know, it's been a while since I've updated, but I've been busy - too busy to take pics and post em. Why do I post updates? Cuz I enjoy sharing what I'm working on with ya'll. Just as much as I enjoy seeing what everyone else is working on. So here goes:

Iron Man Bust is almost done...just have to glue the insanely bright LED strips into the eyes:

Do you realize how long it takes to clean, prime and paint a enough dread rings for 6 heads? A frangadakin long ass time!!!! (see what I just did there George? )

The cut off dreads that go in the garbage. Seems like such a waste, but what else do you do with a tube of foam latex? I'm sure Kevin can think of something dirty!

I cut a hole in the bust so that I could run the LED wiring through and turn on the eyes from the back of the bust:

Holy crap on a cracker these LED's are bright! What an awesome bust tho:

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...I finished all the spots and sealed the paint. Still have to attach quills, dreads and glass eyes. Here's a sneak peak:
