Whatever happened to the kryptonite necklace from the first Reeve movie?

I always wondered what happened to it.

I see crystals from the consoles come up for auction now and again, and I see costumes, but I have never seen any information about the necklace.

Anyone know what happened to it, or is it locked away in some prop dept back room like Raiders of the Lost Ark ?
