Hey all! Ive been browsing this forum for years and since I decided to get into costuming myself I decided I'll get some ideas from everyone here. I don't know what suit or character I want to be yet but Ive been working on different effects, specifically light effects. Now, let me get into what this post is about.
When you go online and look at pics from different cons or cosplayers, what are you looking at? Pictures! So, my goal is to make effects both character specific and generic (ie. fireball) that look awesome in pics as well as in person. Why am I here asking and why the hell do you guys care about me specifically making this? I'm no one special, just an electrical and mechanical engineer who got laid off and has ample time on his hands! I've got the knowledge I just want some more ideas...Pictures would be helpful. I'm also open to anime, DC, video games, ect..
