What kind of boots does Wyatt Earp wear in Tombstone?

You'd think I could find these but noooooooooo. They are very tall, almost to the knee, with a high heel. The part that really throws me is the toe box being square as opposed to the traditional ponted tow. Anyone know what this style is called, or better, where I might find a supplier?

And the pointed toe is actually a modern interpretation. Back in the old west days, most boots had the coffin toe, or a rounded one.

They don't list it as a style on their website, but the Alberta Boot Company makes excellent period western boots. All of the western movies that film in Alberta get them made there. I have a pair myself, and I love them!

I'd contact them, and tell them you're interested in period western boots, and see what they say.

Their boots are excellent quality - the first pair I ever bought from there lasted me 11 years (had to be resoled a couple of times because I wore them so much), and my current pair are likely to last as long, or longer.

The guy that made my Boba Fett boots, waaaaay back when, on TDH actually made the boots for Tombstone. They are small and have no website that I know of, but here's their info:
