Top of my HG, and the most unrealistic one would be THE DeLorean Time Machine BTTF Part 1 version

Other HGs would be a screenused Tardis,
The 12th Doctors Yamaha SGV-800 "Black Sparkle" guitar
Grogu puppet
Porg puppet ( if there is any at all, not sure if they all were done CGI )

Paramount donated the War Machines to a Boy Scout metal drive. George Pal kept one, but it was lost, along with all his other props in his house fire.

David.

It got saved from being melted down, only to be melted down anyway! Weird fate.

Like they say in some movies and TV shows...You can't escape your fate.

David.

Ah! So, if he had never gotten the prop, his house would not have burned down. The fate followed whomever ended up with the prop. He should have given it away.

Curious as to the fate of the Atlantian submarine from 'Atlantis the Lost Continent', 1961
The original prop was huge. On my list of scale models to scratch one day.

My grail item would be Sho Kosugi’s tsuba eye patch from Ninja III the Domination. I have a 3-D printed replica but it’s not the same.

No, what it means is that NO MATTER where it would have gone, that was it's fate. It doesn't mean that it started the fire at George Pal's house , that unfortunately was Mr Pal's fate. That is if you believe in fate.

David.
