What does Matsuo owe you? (Problems with Matsuo)

My [unfounded] suspicion is that any parts or props [of his own making or sent to him by customers] he did have, have long been sold on, in some sort of horrible robbing Peter to pay Paul spiral ...

I imagine that's likely what happened with the NuBSG Colonial Pistol I paid for a few years back.

He probably sold it to someone else to cover someone else's expenses. Not that I expect to get anything from him at this point.

Figured I'd just cut my losses and try to get one through Alchemy Arms, but they've been out of stock on a lot of their products for awhile now.

Phone text messages. We used to talk regularly years ago before the downward spiral happened.
If he owes you product like a pulse rifle, or something else big, I'm 95% sure he doesn't
have it on hand, even in parts form.

Far as I know he still has his molds and masters, but that's all I know.
On the PR subject... last... year (?) he said he was talking about
selling all the Pulse Rifle stuff to another maker to produce, but I haven't heard any
more on that front. I have a friend who sent their Matsuo rifle back to him years ago
to replace the dead shot counter display and they still don't have it back either.

I know he's had a bad run of job/personal/family issues, but communication helps a lot.
I bet there would even be people willing to help out on prop production but he
never even asks.

IF I decide to finally do it and drive down there (It's like an 18 hour drive for me, one way)
I'll speak up.

He was talking with me about the purchase. I might as well come out now.... I have been tooling up to build Matt's style of Pulserifles for little over a year now. I have had some deep conversations with him during this time period. Most of what you are hearing is true (The difficulties at least)

So far I have built 3 (what I call) "Matsu-clones". I use NEARLY the same methods and ingredients (Resin, parts, screws etc). My intentions were to help him build his Pulserifle backorders. Sadly, I can not make any promises to anybody and Matt is still limited. I'm just trying to hold on and hope that one day we can wash this dirt off the whole debacle... I'm not able to take on any commissions for those that might be thinking that way, I apologize, these builds are just to darn complicated... I can truly understand what goes into Matt's builds... its ALOT!

There's seems to be quite a bit of demand for good quality pulse rifle builds. Disney's merch department could probably make a haul by licensing the rights to the PR to a company like Master Replicas to make moving-parts PR replicas. HCG seems to only do static stunt rifles for the Alien IP nowadays.

AlienArmament Thank you for bringing us an update and hope. We all wish to see the backlog cleared and the entire situation resolved.

Regretably, I am not one of the Pulseriflers(Pulse-riflemen? Pulsegunners? What is the proper term?), I am still looking to get ahold of my Doom "Reaper" Rifle and some Judge Dredd/Underworld kits.The Rifle was reported just about done in March 2022, but I have not seen anything since then.Would anyone else happen to know anything about this? As previously said, I am not getting any response on any channel, email or messenger.

Matt reached out to me on Friday afternoon. He's had a lot of unpleasant lifestyle changes "recently," that I'm not going to get into but it's been pretty bad. He lost his house and is living out of his shop which is filled with boxes and living stuff, but not working shop stuff. He promised to get my stuff out again, so we'll just have to see what happens.
