2, Judge Dredd Lawgiver kit.
+ 3x Underworld compensator kits.
Paid August 20-29th 2015.

3, Crux Terminatus Resin sculpture.
Paid july 4th 2016.


My story reads pretty similiar to what this thread has said.
Many promises of providing photographic evidence of the project, but very few actually sent.
Contact is sporadic, sometimes may go months between responses.
The fact that I am in another timezone regretable makes his responses arrive in the middle of the night.
I have tried my very best to be non aggresive and polite in my communication, but I fear I nolonger have that patience.

In march 2022, Matsucorp spontaneously contacted me and sent me the image below, with a confirmation that the Doom rifle was ready, except for a few leds. This was the first proof of production and product that I have recieved.
Since then however, no news.

It is two months shy of 9 years since I payed, and I have not recieved a single piece of my order.
I will be content and let bygones be, when I have the parts I ordered.

What is the resin Sculpture you paid for he is not known for that type of work?

It is now past 9 years for me since Matsucorp recieved payment for the Doom Rifle.
Last I heard from him was one middle of the night comunication in the middle of april 2024.
Has anyone else heard or seen anything?
 
I just sent him a message on the 15th. Long message. Got a reply, usual excuses, usual promises. Nothing so far.
It's so frustrating for me because unlike the rest of you, he wasn't building me anything. Well, not entirely true, but I gave up on that and just need my unused masters sent back, and still nothing.
 
So sad. Crickets from this guy. Luckily for me the damage was only $15.00 for a replica pulse rifle grip. That was over 5yrs ago. Have the paypal receipts etc.
 
Airsoft sleeve or solid? Also added you to the "who's owed what?" list on page 22.

At least he responded to you. Crickets for me now after all these years for many months.
 
A previous message from him said he was "going to finish the pulse rifles" and then sell the molds/right to another builder.
He's been having medical/family issues he says, the same stuff he's been saying for years. It might be true, who knows, I'm not him. I don't even know what he's doing for a "real" job these days since he's not making props.
 
It's too bad. I'd have commissioned him to do the Bladerunner metal kit, but there's no way I'd turn parts on my dime over to him.

I think I might be the last person got what he paid for from him back in 2021 (within cc / paypal dispute window and living only 4 hrs away).
 
I have been playing cat and mouse with Matt for years.

I periodically post on his Facebook page and get no response but I found other people that he has ghosted. One of those people sent me the link to this thread when he saw what I posted on Facebook.

I ordered an Aliens Shoulder Lamp in 2018. In April of 2018 I purchased the real world lamp on eBay that was used to make the Aliens shoulder lamp and I had the light delivered to Matt directly. He sent me excuse after excuse detailing his reasons for not getting it done and finally he just stopped responding. I am out $250 and the $85 I spent on eBay for the original light found parts.
My losses are much lower than some of you but I’m beyond furious now that he has ghosted so many people. This is unacceptable. I’m ready to seek a legal recourse.

I wonder how many of Matt's customers have done that? Has anyone filed a complaint with his state's attorney general? This situation reminds me of Hero Restoration in the comic book world, someone who was once reputable and now owes customers products/property/services/refunds and simply ghosts them and/or makes endless excuses. The guy running Hero Restoration is now in some deep legal ****
 
At this point, I'd love to go legal if I knew the first thing about it and had the disposable income. Such blatant thievery...officially ghosting me on all fronts now for the year...only took 7 years of dragging me along.
 
oh i wish i had seen this earlier. this guy took me for $2500 back in 2021 for a pulse rifle that i still dont have in my hands. i have been trying to find him to get my money back. i am not haveing much success getting him to respond but i have spoken to his wife who seems to be just as much a con artist. here is the information i have been able to find hopefully others can get their issues set right.
