Damn, what was that guy's name, when they videoed it? I was actually lucky enough to get a refund from him for a vaporware PKD back in around 2002! A lot of flakes over the years.....

iirc it was two people , the video surfaces from time to time…:D
 
Over the weekend had a reply. No surprise as to it being another excuse. I’m not interested in excuses or family hardships, we all have them and we all suffer from something unfortunately. I have my own business and somehow manage to take care of my customers despite all of the hospital visits and kid stuff on my end on top of everything else. Sorry dude, I have run out of empathy at this point.

Either way, he says he’s in his shop all week. We will see…

You have his cell phone number ? Never heard anyone having that before. So him and his wife live separate and whats does that mean ? Lol

I feel exactly the same way. I pay for something, I want it in a timely fashion.
It's kind of like going out to eat. So I'm waiting 45 minutes for my order and the waitstaff comes over and apologizes that it's taking so long, but they are really short handed. How is this MY problem exactly? I still have to pay full price for my meal because your establishment was having issues? I don't care. I've actually been in this situation on more than one occasion. On those instances I handled it exactly the same way. I paid in cash exactly half of the bill and no tip. Then I leave a note with my first and last name and I write "Please call me if you have any questions or concerns with the amount I paid", then me and my family walk out.
To this day I have yet to receive any calls.

Since I've been in the restaurant business in another life (servers/cashier/cook/dishwasher), as a rule, you don't wait 45 minutes to warn your client of short staffed problem (as you said, it's not your job to care about that). It should've been mentioned to you, at the beginning, before you ordered your food!
"Sir, I'm sorry but we've experiencing a short staff problem today and you might wait a long time for your food to arrive at your table. I would understand if you decide to leave and choose another restaurant. If not, let me bring you some finger food and your drinks, on the house, while you wait for your main meal". That's what I would do;)
 
Not to be a downer or anything but I have been waiting for pulse rifle parts for just under 5 years now. I got a picture of my parts supposedly done and "ready to ship" roughly 2 years ago. He "just need to find a box". I still don't have my parts.
Yup seen that too Lol . He really is a piece of work .

Oh, believe me, I’m not holding my breath. I’m currently wondering if he sent that same photo to anyone else as “proof”. I’m sure he’s tired of hearing from me and I’m really tired of having to get onto him to get the ball rolling.

No better way to sour your reputation and a patient and understanding customer than to have these kind of practices with your business.
 
What a terrible way to live. Getting hate mail on a daily basis, people telling you what a piece of crap you are for stealing their money, calling you a crook and a thief. Then knowing what everyone else is saying about you on various forums tarnishing your reputation further. I mean, honestly, how do you find the will power to wake up every day and not spend the day stressed and depressed?
