Hi there,

Please let me know if I have posted this in the wrong place. I have now been waiting for almost 10 months for Matt Worsdell from Mattsucorp to deliver the resin flame unit and the resin welder [painted] since december of 2022.

I have emailed him and begged him to reply and at least check in with me. I learned on his web site on facebook that he owes one guy a shoulder lamp from 2018 and another a pulse rifle. I am really really bummed out.

I reached out to Spat to see if he could advocate for me, and he did contact him but it does not not appear to have pushed any of this forward....

Any suggestions or advocacy would greatly be appreciated .....

sorry that you are dealing with this, I'm sorry to inform you that Matt is not really considered trustworthy anymore here. I have dealt with him a few years back as well and managed to finally get my stuff after countless emails, even reminding him several times of what I ordered as he doesn't even seem to keep track of orders.

some people have actually been waiting for 20 years it seems! my best advice is to write to him again and again and again. People like this will usually end up sending to the people that bother them the most and completely give up on people that are letting them get away with it. It's sad but it's a reality I'm afraid.

There's a thread here on the RPF about Mattsucorp. Personally, I believe that he should be banned here. I also purchased an item from Matt and was ignored until I filed a Paypal dispute, which caused him to write and promise that he would send the item. After reading the RPF thread here at that point, I no longer believed that Matt would follow through. I filed my PP dispute outside the window for refunds, and I still got my money back. Worth a shot!

It's pretty staggering that this POS has still not been banned. What exactly does it take? Last time i bitched was 3 years ago. Same story. Same POS. Ive had issues with life. Im smart enough to not take ANY money for anything im building. If i dont come through you loose NOTHING. If your not returning other peoples property you are a THIEF or your have no intergety to at least say "I ****ed up heres your stuff back sorry" . Pathetic . So is that fact this guy still has not been banned.
 
I met him once at Wonderfest in Louisville and we had a great conversation so I was completely blindsighted :(

Is there anyone on this replica board that knows him personally that can advocate for us????

yeah, I have to admit at the time, I really wanted to believe him and I felt really bad for all his issues. But now that I am a maker myself and have my fair share of life issues as well, I just don't get it, indeed, never take money up front, just do your work and sell it when it's finished. It's pretty DAMN HARD for sure, but you will not fall behind with money that was already paid to you and you actually get money after you finish something, which is obviously more motivating.
Anyways, don't want to get too involved in this, but I'm having a pretty bad day of my own and really don't get people stealing from the community like that, so I couldn't resist!

I think the biggest problem is that people like this use pre-pay income from sales as a trough for personal emergencies. "I'm just going to borrow a few hundred from 'this' account. I'll pay it back when the emergency is over". Matsuo was a quality builder and well respected. Later on he did attempt to repair his reputation by at least addressing some outstanding items, but that didn't last long. Unfortunately the list on who he swindled is getting longer.

just did a search in my mails to show the amount of communication it took, it's not even funny... damn, didn't remember it was that many mails!

I am more interested in someone just letting him know that this is an issue- because he appears shut down and not tuned into how his disconnection from his customers is really upsetting us and possibly effecting his reputation
