What do you do with your old silicone molds?

I have some silicone molds I want to get rid of or cut up and possibly find another use for. I am currently cutting up a mold for a helmet I have made and never plan to make again.

What do you do with your old cured silicone?

Incorporate into a new mould.

Yep! Cut it into teeny tiny pieces and use it as filler or registration in your next mold.

I have some old molds I made of a Johnny Five model, I haven't used them for some time. I will one day try and cast up a bunch more Johnny's might be only one to see how they have held up, I like the ideal of being able to cut them up and use them as filler in a new mold. I should have cast some resin in them and left the molds full but they look okay but if not filler they will become Great advice cool question glad it was asked

You can also grind it. And use it as a filler, probably better for pour molds.

I use an old coffee grinder. I can select the "size" of the grain (I put it on "coarse") on the first pass and then another pass at "fine".
