hey guys
im thinking of building my own vader anh screen accurate lightsaber replica and with soo much stuff out there i was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to get parts, etc. a real mpp is not necessary. replicas are fine. how are the parks versions?
thanks

I assume you mean a replica LIGHTSABER, as opposed to a helmet or a 1:1 mannequin...

yes...sorry forgot that

Well, first of all it depends on whether you're going for authenticity or a cosmetically accurate prop.

You could go for an authentic MPP, but finding the right variant ,with the correct shroud, sidebars, portholes, stamped letters, etc, might be time consuming.

Or you could go for an accurate replica, if you're not nitpicky about authenticity.

Then all you need are 7, 96mm grips, 30X23 MM D-ring and calculator bubble strip cut down to 6 bubbles.. ( http://www.blast-tech.com/home.asp or http://www.romansempireproductions.com/home.htm)

If you're going for super accurate then you're going to have to remove the lever stem and replace it with a bent nail.

what do you mean by removing the lever stem and replacing it with a bent nail?
does anyone have pics or tutorials?
also, are the parks mpp replicas pretty accurate?
thanks again
