What became of custom MR mini ROTJ Vader?

There was a thread where some were expressing that they would like a kit if possible to convert an MR mini saber into a Vader ROTJ as MR will not make them.

I was VERY interested, but nothing has become of it.

I cannot find the thread either anymore.

Is anyone willing to take on the task of making a kit to convert an ANH or ESB luke mini into a Vader ROTJ?

I was working on one that. I kind of forgot about it. I have everything except the glass eye on the bottom and the ball catch. As soon as I figure those out I'll be finished.

Seems like this woulda been a no brainer for a last minute thing for MR. :unsure


Im sure this leaves an annoying gap in many peoples collections.

Yep.

Its weird how many variations of the clones they did, but no ROTJ vader saber? (other than the LE/SE one)

More annoying than you can imagine! Especially for a die hard Vader fan. So if anyone ever makes these as kits or does the full blown deal I will be right there at the front of the line ready for it!
