What Are Your All Time Favorite Video Games?

Final Fantasy VII

Out of all the games I've played i just dont get tired of this,

There are sooooo many that would fall in to being favourites; I'd play GoldenEye, Zelda and Total War games over and over again. However, there is only one that really tops it. Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64; innuendo and violence, what more could you ask for...

Indiana Jones Fate of Atlantis
TIE Fighter (with Addons)
X-Wing (with Addons)
Wing Commander 1-2 (3 & 4 are OK, but you asked for all-time-favorites)
Pirates Gold
X-Com aka UFO - Enemy Unknown
Sim City 2000
Schleichfahrt (aka Archimedean Dynasty)
Monkey Island 1-2
Loom (lots of fond memories playing this one as a youth)
Maniac Mansion
Baldur's Gate 1 - 2 (including Addons)
Super Metroid
Zelda - A link to the past
Zelda - Link's Awakening
Secret of Mana
Metroid Prime
Giana Sisters (a classic from the good old Commodore 64)
Might & Magic 2-4 (or was it 5 with Worlds of Xeen?)
Eye of the Beholder 1-2

and many many more. Most of them are older than 10 years, and from computers and systems many younger even seem to know that they existed.

BIOSHOCK
Mass Effect & MASS EFFECT 2
Left 4 Dead 1 & LEFT 4 DEAD 2
Oblivion

Pleased to be reminded of the 3DO... can't count the hours lost on STAR CONTROL 2 and a little known but addictive title THE HORDE.

Yeah I just finished Bioshock last night, actually. I'd add that to the list. A very fun shooter with a really interesting theme.

Hands down, my favourite video game of all time is Half Life 2, with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves a close second. That being said, I also extremely enjoyed Battlefield Bad Company

My All time favourite Video Games are here:

-Mass Effect 2
-Prince of Persia
-Madden NFL 10
-Need for speed
-Metal Gear Solid 4

Newer Games:
~~~~~~~~~~~
Mass Effect
Fallout
The Sims
Call of Duty
Fable
Killzone
Dragon Age
Star Wars The Force Unleashed
Old School Games:
~~~~~~~~~~~
Bomberman Fantasy Race
Battletoads
Yoshi's Island
Tamagotchi (the Gameboy game)
Harvest Moon (I think the N64 version was the best)
Super Metroid (the VERY first one!)

I'm sure I left quite a few out, but those are basically the ones I think about playing all the time. I wish I owned some of the old stuff I listed, but it's simply a matter of finding the games that's the most difficult part.

A couple of old school favorites of mine I didnt see listed here yet...

Space Rogue on the C-64. It was a mix of a space flight sim and an RPG. I haven't seen anything really like it since.

Bards Tale 3 on the C-64.

Cliffhanger. This was an arcade game similar to Space Ace where you were playing a cartoon but it was more like a James Bond movie.

X-COM for the C-64 or PS1.

StunRunner for the arcade with the sit down cabinet controls was incredible back in the day.

I'm glad someone besides me played X-com. sadly the remake will suck. My friends introduced me to it on the pc and i got hooked. Back before I got a playstation i rented one and xcom and that entire long thanksgiving day weekend it was all i played. I think i may have to install it now :lol

Yeah, X-Com 1 and X-Com 2 (which is basically #1 but underwater) were awesome. #3 was...eh. Haven't looked at the rest.

You know they were re-released on Steam, right?
