What Are Your All Time Favorite Video Games?

Space Ace was NOT the sequel to Dragon's Lair. Dragon's Lair II was the sequel to Dragon's Lair, followed by Dragon's Lair III. Space Ace, however, was the same company.

Anyone know if those games are available on Xbox yet, by the way?

I didn't mean sequal, poor choice of words. I only meant that Dragon's Lair was the first one to come out.

And if we are going old school, I would also mention Tempest.

There was an old game I played at the amusement park over 30 years ago. It had Battlezone/Tempest type of graphics (i.e. lines). I can't remember the name. I was at least 2 player, and you looked down at the screen like some of the versions of Space Invaders I've seen. You drove tank like vehicles, and you had to keep the triangles in the middle of the screen. These other tank like vehicles would race in and try and steal them. Great old school game, can't remember the name?

Dead Space

Aliens vs Predator (PC Original)
Silent Hill 1, 2
Secret of Monkey Island 1,2 (PC Original)

Resident Evil series (especially the GC Remake, 1, 2 and Nemesis), haven't played 5 yet but seems far removed from 1, 2 and 3 (what the heck happened to Barry Burton & Rebecca Chambers???)

I can't put these in any specific order, but:

Monkey Island 1-4, but especially number 3

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Half-Life 2 and subsequent episodes

Sonic Adventure 2, but only for the Sonic and Shadow levels

The Prince of Persia games, starting with Sands of Time and including the alt. universe one.

Man this is tough. Nearly all 80s arcade games, pole position on the 2600, most NES games (though i didn't like RPGs at first), all the snes RPGS, shadowrun and other rpgs on sega. FF7, FF8 for the ps1, the resident evils. Who am i kidding i like nearly every game i play/own lol. Well except for most new mainstream games that are just cookie cutter copies of each other. The game industry doesn't take risks importing these days. I"m praying the new BTTF game doesn't stink.

1. Pacman (classic)
2. Marauder (played on an Apple II) - http://www.mobygames.com/images/sho...nshot-start-of-game-1-destroy-the-barrier.png
2. Maniac Mansion
3. Carmen Sandiego games (world and time)
4. Hero's Quest (and all succeeding Quest for Glory sierra games)
5. Space Quest series (Roger Wilco's the best!!!)
6. Leisure Suit Larry 1 - 7
7. Monkey Island series
8. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Graphic Adventure)
9. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
10. Halflife series
11. Diablo 1 and 2 (still waiting for the third installment)
12. Need for Speed Most Wanted
13. Star Wars Force Unleashed 1 & 2 (PSP versions)
14. Dragon Age II (still playing this...)

Fester's Quest by Sunsoft for the original NES. I played that sucker for hours and hours after recovering from one of my many surgeries and it never got old. I also played and loved Marathon for the Mac, and the original LucasArts Dark Forces game.

For my all time Fav's, the ones I've gone back to play through again and again:

Virtually any console Zelda game (Link to the Past being top) - I've probably spent a few years of my life playing these.

Myst

Halo (pretty much any)

Bioshock 1+2

The Oldest games I remember that I loved playing are Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (NES of course) and Legend of Kyrandia: The Hand of Fate (an old DOS (i think) Game it's the 2nd game in the trilogy idr what the subtitles of the other 2 are.)

That game was a Ton of fun. I still recommend checking out the series.

The zelda games are favorites of mine. Especially ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

other randomly listed games...Portal, Goldeneye, Super Smash brothers (all 3 of them), The mario party games..the mario Kart games.. Starcraft 1 and 2

My number 1 is Resident Evil 2. My favorite game ever, I was really hoping it would be remade after they did the RE 1 remake.
2. The REmake for Gamecube
Others are Halo 2, Modern Warfare 2, Elder Scrolls 4, and the rest of the RE series.
Anyone else get really picky about games as you get older? I maybe buy 2 or 3 a year.

Stubbs the Zombie. By far the only game upto date that's had me enthralled the entire time and not want to get up.

By no means an exhaustive list:

Kirby's Dreamland
Duck Hunt
Fire Pro Wrestling Six Man Scramble (Sega Saturn)
Goldeneye (N64)
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
Virtual Pro Wrestling 2
Star Wars Battlefront I and II
Red Dead Redemption
Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II
X Wing vs. TIE Fighter
