Bob's Tumbler: Just simply amazing the work that went into the building of that.

TMP's Iron Man: The finished shots of the suit that TMP took were awe-inspring.

TMP's Upcoming METAL Iron Man - This one will be even greater. A true Iron Man suit. What's funny about the metal suit is a few days before TMP debuted it, a buddy said that the person who creates a full metal Iron Man suit will be rich. He said he wanted to create it and sell it. Then *BAM, TMP shows off the suit.

Obi-Wan Weathered Original Parts ID'd: I didn't really follow all the cfountless hours of research that went into it, but seeing a completed version of this saber shows how much work the RPF puts into finding a true replica prop.

GINO's Vader(s) - His progress pics and the complete display with a fully custom mannequin understructure are a work of true art. They all look like Vader jumped from the screen and into real life.

New BSG Suits: It's the shiny material that make it look great. But having the suits all done with the actual material from the show is another wonder of how hard fans try to get as close as possible to accurate.

Wampa's Han in Carbonite Desk: that thing was a mix of prop and functionality. A very good idea that came out really well done.

I know theres more, but those are the ones that come to mind.

Geez. No way I can come up with a list like that off the top of my head. Just too many great pieces from here!

The ones mentioned so far, I have nodded "uh-huh..." There are certainly more. The Logan's Run working pistol was another jaw dropper for me. The TUmbler has to be the biggest shock and awe project I have seen. I love the landspeeder that Jason and Ron have been working on (and If I were empyed I might own it right now!

To me the most jawdropping items have been many of the studio scale models. The level of detail in the paintjobs, let alone all of the research that has gone into them is ridiculous.

Specifically, ckwanwoo's Devastator build made me want to build one. There are very few things I've seen on the board that have made me jump in with both feet. Even though it's not done yet, I can't get over how cool looking it is.

I agree, and I can't believe this wasn't mentioned earlier. Built from scratch from the ground up with nothing but screen caps and auction pictures, detailed interior, working lights.

Might I suggest a possible catagory selection. i.e.
1. weapons(guns, knives, light sabers, etc..)
2. vehicles (full size - functional, or non)
3. costumes(wearable, any material, including prothetics).
4. busts/statues( silicone, resin/painted-non wearable/functional)
5. misc. (things that don't fit into any catagory, could be original designs, i.e. )

Of course your favorite prop may just be from your favorite movie, so you would have to base it on something different in each catagory. like busts - most realistic. Costumes - most film accurate, but scratch built. or something like that. Then set up polls for each catagory. just thoughts
