what animal skull is necklace on in ROTLA?

OK, I searched the forum for info on this, but came up empty. Maybe I don't know how to best use the search function.

What kind of animal skull is the Headpiece to the Staff of Ra necklace sitting on in Marion's bar in RAIDERS?

Some kind of bison or bull? It looks bovine...

After looking hard at the single frame grab I have of the necklace hung over the skull, I think a ram or goat of some kind is the best guess.

The horns on a yak grow out to the side - the horns on the ROTLA skull point straight up. BTW, the horns look totally bogus to me - crudely sculpted onto a skull so it would stand upright on the tabletop.

Any other opinions?

Bingo! If you look they actually sweep almost straight back, & they've been cut before they start turning downwards.

And the horns could very well be fake. Heck the entire skull could be fake for that matter...
