Mates,

Anyone ordered a 1:1 Lancer from GoW series at ProjectTriforce.com?

It seems it'll beat Neca's ass hard but at the same time i'm sort of worried of lack of updates since last 2008...

Website has been the same contents since back on october 2008!

The only "hope" is that they hold the Epic Games logo and Epic do link to them!

Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Personally, I think the outrageous pricetag of the Project Triforce Lancer is what's keeping it from the market. At $1,000 it's literally 10X the cost of the NECA Lancer and rivals the cost of a real working assault rifle.
The NECA Lancer was made from the actual in-game model and is extremely accurate to the Gears 1 version. The PT version has taken "artistic liberties," in many places (like length, girth, color and more) and isn't accurate to Gears 1 or 2.
I'm a massive, huge Gearhead and there's no way I'd buy a $1,000, inaccurate Lancer just because it has some shinier parts.
Buy a $50 "defective" version off of ebay and touch it up.

But there are no final pics of the rifle, right? Where did you get that in-accuracy from?

You indeed have a point on the pricing thing, and of course global economic crisis prolly does not help... although a working chainsaw and bright leds would rock! :p

In the end, the M4A1 from HCG will end up on the same figure, works "against" a cheaper version (Icons), will have less "functionality" and everyone's already dying to get ahold of it! :p (of course Hollywood stands over any VG... or not! :p)
