Looks good. Unfortunately the color I want to try doesn’t ship to CA for strange reason. Need to try that polishing with steel wool.

That looks great my man!! Nice work
Any 'silk' silver PLA+ should very similar. Its the silky silver texture that gives it the machined metal look with a decent shine. I've used it on hero props for movies and it can really sell on camera, especially if I slow my printer down for better quality.

Well that will teach me to check my AMS spools before I go out...

Hopefully I can restart with a new Spool when I get back ?
Fifteen hours into a nineteen hour print and I had to leave for the Airport.

I miss managed my times..

My original Mark Bradley (BradleyFett) Fett jetpack kit on the left, and my recently acquired MOW kit on the right.

Bradley's kit is about 25 years old, and it's AMAZING how close he got to the actual prop, considering the limited access to resources at the time! He got the overall shape & size correct, and the rocket assembly is REALLY close although it has 3 tines, instead of 4. But you can see where the piano keys detail is soft, the thruster ball-tops are a little too big, and the central blue vertical spine is too narrow, as is the central yellow vertical support tube. Also, The jetpack is not quite as deep. I'll probably toss it in the Junkyard for $cheap at some point (if anyone is interested, just let me know).

"This is my Eiffel Tower. This is my Rachmaninoff's Third. My Piéta. It's completely elegant, it's bafflingly beautiful" lol. Just finished this morning. I had to make 3 concessions and I made an oops. 1. Wanna only had SH stencils, so I adapted them the best I could. 2. I followed Halliwaxs tutorial on the wind vain but came up short(I'm not unhappy with it). 3. Could not bring myself to bend the emitter. Just can't. But it's a SK gen1 so it has the halo and that's good enough for me. The last thing I did was install the clamp card and was seeing if I wanted to close up the rails and I accidentally put a couple kinks in the rail. Trying to convince myself that it fits with a very beat up saber but there is just something about when you don't mean to weather it, lol. I'm hoping one of you says it adds character, so i will stop obsessing about it,lol. Thank you Scarfman, Halliwax, and Starkiller.
