Weyland logo - aliens

I have looked at all the Weyland logo's, but still do not know which one is correct for the second Alien movie. I know the first movie logo were Egyptian wings, but there are several variations thereafter.

Any information, pictures etc. would be greatly appreciated.

On the column in the background, it looks like they have a 'stencilled' version of the logo as well.

I found this image, which is slightly different to the one from URSUS43, but was wondering if anyone recognises the font used for 'WEYLAND-YUTANI CORP" ?

"Eurostile" is very similar, but I think it's "Microgramma D" bold extended.

How about that stencil logo sprayed on a container in the background? Anybody have a clear shot of that?

This is an old thread I know, but the Weyland Yutani top font from Aliens isn't Eurostile.

Eurostile was used all caps in the instant messenger interfaces of Alien3 when Ripley was attempting to ward off the rescue ship claiming the planet had gone toxic and it is often baroquly substituted by the community of fan artists and screen printers selling shirts and replica gear.

But, the vexing part is what is the bottom font ?

"Bullding Better Worlds" is written in some type of comical style serif font that is an on pressmans typeface since Cameron had to create it in the 1980's long before Microsoft Office was even invented.

If anyone knows the name of the Building Better Worlds font either the original printing press typeface or the same / similar electronic font then please share and you'll be a hero on several colonies.

I finally settled on this font for my facehugger project.

"Eurostile" is very similar, but I think it's "Microgramma D" bold extended.
