I always thought it was 'readable'... but you couldnt POST in there unless you were Premium?

It was visible to members, but I don't ever remember it being accessible to the general public (non-registered visitors).

I haven't read everything, but

The 'remember me' option is not working for me. I'm having to login manually every time i open a new browser (i.e. every day or when i hit the close button by accident and have to restart the broswer, etc).

It's not my settings as it was fine at the old site and everything else i do from here.

Still no update. :(

Nothing to report yet. Still working on it. We haven't given up. We still have three main components to go:

1. Likes (working on it now)
2. Gallery photos (will work on it Sunday)
3. Seller Rep (this one can't be done until our next upgrade... hopefully before the end of the year)

Thanks for the update. Now to ask.... have you had a chance to even sleep in the past week?

More than the week before. Last week was the most trying week I have had here since the Russian thing. Lot of stress on all of the staff but thanks to everyone’s efforts and the patience of the community, I am happy with how this migration has gone. Still some bumps in the road that need to be quickly ironed out and surely a number of things that can be improved over the next few months, but we made the huge hurdle successfully and for that I am exceedingly thankful. Now, I have to start planning for the next migration to the latest version of the new software which is even faster, has a better UI, and is even more mobile friendly. Hoping to complete that before the end of the year so we can start 2019 on a very strong foot!

Hi. New problem.

I'm a Premium member, but it says I have insufficient privileges to post in PROJECT RUNS.

Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with the forum software telling me to disable my adblocker, which I did. The forum still insists that I have it on. Sometimes I have to reload the page a number of times for the page to actually be usable. A bunch of us have been discussing this on a different thread, but someone suggested that this thread is the official support thread, so I'll repost my finding here:

I found out what the problem for me is, it may be the same in other people's case: I browse this forum using Firefox, and my tracking protection is ON.
If I turn this OFF, the adblock "warnings" go away...

So basically, me wanting not be be tracked by 3rd party websites is the reason that therpf.net's forum software thinks I am running an ad blocker.
However, I will not turn this off. I believe it is my right to keep my browsing information private as much as possible.

In my opinion, this is a failure on the part of therpf.com forum. I hope someone can take note and fix this.
Until then, I will turn my ad blocker back on, since there is no advantage for me to do otherwise.

Thank you for this information. This is very good to know and will allow us to go back to the developer and see if we can get this resolved. We have no direct interest in tracking you (even I use a VPN) so the adblocker should not triggering that. Let us look into this and see what can be done.

Sorry for being so slow. Had to go off Tapatalk to realize I needed to go off Tapatalk. Lol!

Having had other things I loved just drop off the twig with disconcertingly little notice; just monumentally happy that the RPF is still here.

Thanks to you and all the unsung hero’s for working your parts off making this happen...

Art - I did these things and I still can't stay logged in.
Not a super big deal, just FYI.

I have no idea if this is possible - some sites use their own unique video player and embed code - for instance, I wanted to post the video of the Falcon flythrough seen here:

Disney Is Spending More on Theme Parks Than It Did on Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm Combined

Here's the code:

<iframe title="New York Times Video - Embed Player" width="480" height="321" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen="true" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" id="nyt_video_player" src="NYTLogo_gray#888888"></iframe>

But not sure it's possible. Not a big deal, just thinking out loud...

For those who have had trouble with the "Stay logged in" feature, are you connecting via http or https? When I connected to this particular thread via http, it showed nobody logged in, and my login isn't saved at all. Changing the URL to https, it showed I was logged in and I am able to add a reply.

I'm on Firefox 63.0.3

Here's a list of sites that XenForo supports for embedded video out of the box (no idea whether they're all enabled on theRPF).

New York Times would probably have to be special-cased, not sure it's worth the effort to add support for the NYT player for this site, but worthwhile to ask XenForo to add it.
