Re: Free paper-prop thread no.3 - 2008

How do you Print that picture onto a Polaroid picture?

Well that picture of Sarah Connor does not look like a typical Polaroid. Also I was under the impression it was just a normal photograph from the wiki. But I wouldn't know how you would print it onto a polaroid. My idea would probably print it out and slip a Polaroid like sleeve over it, I don't know.

Haha I might be new here, but I'm not one of those unintelligible noobs that just come here to request a specific paper prop. I hope to become an active member of TheRPF.

But as for my own Contribution,

You will just have to be able to print/trace the image onto a piece of Cardboard.

Re: Free Paper Prop Thread #4 - 2009

I have this posted in the Watchmen page as well, but I thought it fit here as well.

I wanted to create my own little corner of Watchmen history in my office. I fell in love with the golden age heroes and the awesome photography of them. So, I set out to create my own versions of some New York Gazette front pages from the day.

These particular papers don't appear in the film per se, but are representative of the news stories that were likely occurring during the Watchmen Golden age. I really tried to match a specific date with certain character developments (Nite Owl during the heyday, Castro rising, and Jon dying). All the copy is real and readable. The aged effect was done in Photoshop and the papers were printed and framed alongside the team photo.

I've just finished a high res reproduction of the Under the Hood book jacket, based off the images found off the BluRay disc posted here earlier by F-N-S, everything was recreated except the photo of Hollis.

It fits a 5.5" x 8.5" 300 page book. Tough part is that most people can't print larger than 18" long. My solution would be to print it in two parts, and join at the back half of the spine (where the red and beige colours meet). As well, it should be glossy - but that's up to you!

printed. :love

Merry Christmas!

Wow I have access to the paper props forum (hey I'm easily pleased)

Anyhoo, I eventually want o have a complete Rorschach police report and other stuff available, maybe for sale or trade.

But offering the FBI Wanted poster I did here, if anyone would like a version.

2 page 68kb .pdf file, print double sided on your laser or inkjet.

Drop me a PM with an email address where I can send the file to if interested.
