From the nice (and pricey) book Watchmen Portraits. Has full-page pix of every character in the film, even the very minor, as well as miscellanious items. Shot these quick and dirty, so forgive quality. These could be construed as spoilers, so thread is marked accordingly.

I'll try to add more later if I can.

what is the mask in the first pic used for? Are those a kind of mo-cap dot to help track his face splotches?
In the other mask pic it appears to have a sub-structure under the mask. I think I can see eye holes under the left eye splotch.

Yeah looks like marker dots to add the CG splotches in Post. It's probably what was worn on set in the majority of the scenes.

The ejection port on the 1911 looks a bit long, wonder what caliber that's shooting, or if it was just lengthened for the opened crimps.

Yeah looks like marker dots to add the CG splotches in Post. It's probably what was worn on set in the majority of the scenes.

They look a bit small to be useful as mocap markers. The markers I've seen were the size of marbles. Though that Rorschach mask looks proper scary.

Sweet looking M1911s too.

Though that Rorschach mask looks proper scary.

It might look "scary" but not proper... the book is quite specific that Rorschach's mask is vinyl.
