Aw man that's a good idea, I had the whole series but sold them off last yearThe action figures might be a good base.

thanksLove to see from concept to reality a lot to choose from in the art works. It looks fantastic!
whats a chuck? The back end of the barrel looks like a collet or chuck.
whats a chuck?
thanks, its mate of a leveling foot from a cabinetIt’s a machining tool used to hold round objects. The piece that holds the material on a lathe is a chuck.
Also, fantastic build! I’ve always loved McQuarrie’s work and seeing them come to life is so awesome.
i did a gunmetal dark grey acrylic spray that was a mistake (it's dark grey with metallic), so now i have to re-do it with gunmetal from a can (metal cote), so i can buff it afterwards. the nosle is going to be silver/alu metal, the grips maybe brown but i'am doubting just to keep it black.Wow, I love it. That Nintendo zapper handle is perfect for it. What are you going to do for paint?

i got humrol metal cote, next time im going to try the graphite powder, i still have to finnish my dl-18 that project was in hybernation to.I've used a Model Masters exhaust that could be buffed and it worked pretty well. But lately I've been liking the look of graphite powder on a gloss black, it gives a nice metal look.
My instincts would be to keep it monochromatic.the nosle is going to be silver/alu metal, the grips maybe brown but i'am doubting just to keep it black.
thanks, i will indeed make a post for advice.Amazing work. Sealing is a tricky decision someone here with experience can offer you some great advice.
