Our Halloween costumes this year: Dr. Elsa Schneider and Walter Donovan from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
...featuring False Grail Change-o-Face!
The gag works because the chalice is built around a UV LED flashlight to trigger the otherwise invisible black light makeup, so I could switch it on after drinking from it.
The top and bottom are dollar store bowls, the base one heat formed flatter.
The Donovan jacket and pants are vintage German officer's clothing, but from a later era. Elsa's started as an '80s blouse, then we took in the shoulders and added the collar. They're far from perfect, but serviceable for a first outing on a weekend of prep, and they were certainly fun!
