Wall-e Cake

It may not be entirely movie accurate, but it was completely edible!

For my son's tenth birthday. It took four home-made chocolate sponge cakes and about eight hours of carving and icing...

Thanks everyone! We've done fairly elaborate cakes for him every year, so we're kind of stuck with the tradition now! He loves them and we enjoy the challenge. Previously we've done a Tardis, a Spiderman bust (my favourite) and a crouching Batman as well as the more traditional kiddy themes. This year he had a hard time deciding between Wall-e and a clone trooper helmet (won't be long before he's posting here!). The inevitable fate is always a bit sad though...

Awesome job. My lil guy wanted a Mach 5 cake for his 3rd bday so my wife made it for him. I don't remember getting great cakes like this as a kid.

Literally, sweet! I love these sorts of things, definitely impressive for all. Hope it was appreciated.
