Looks great! where did you get your holster from?
And on taking guns apart... always be very mindfull of where things go, i always lay them out on a table in the order i took them out, and kinda make a outline/layout of the gun. i do this to my real weapons and my paintball guns as well.

Thanks. Got the holster from ebay. Obviously wanted a basket weave one but couldn't find a basket weave swivel holster. So when it came down to it if I had to pick one or the other it was more important to me to have the swivel holster over the basket weave.

I just ordered a belt holster similar the that one (i think it hasnt come in yet) off amazon; but shane uses a glock 17 so search for ones to fit that model gun.
{EDIT} actualy if you look at your picture of his holster it appears that the glock doesnt really fit properly...

as for his jacket it looks kinda like a 'flight jacket' style if you do a search for 'mens flight jacket blue' or something similar you can find some jackets that are close. but i cant tell you actual maker, sorry

To me, that doesn't look like a law enforcement jacket. Never seen one that had the "nylon with filling" look... plus, no badge tab. I think it's a generic civilian jacket. *shrug*

As for Shane's holster in his "off duty" outfit, I don;t think it ever had enough detail to accurately identify it. I may have to review some episodes again, but I think it was just a generic belt slide... it's entirely possible that it was just stitched together for the show.

His duty rig, if I recall, was a mess of leather and nylon gear... blech. No one mixes the two in real life...

If anyone has any decent pics of it, let me know!

Well the boots were a bust :angry I have never seen anything like this. Although the boots are in my size and the "shoe" part of the boot looks like it would fit I can't get my foot down the "tube" of the boot!!! And the tube isn't all that high I'd say half the height of a western cowboy boot so I don't understand. No idea how this is or what to do!

I wear a breeze bender at work, it doesn't actually look like Shane's. The lack of a badge tab is the biggest giveaway...and the fluffy appearance, like it's stuffed with down or something...

if you search for pics for shane as a walker, you can see that his collar is actually fleece not fur. that may help your search, and i think it may be filled with down or down like material, it looks puffy to me.

My guess is a Sherpa Trucker Jacket from Levis, although they don't seem to have it in blue:

As for Shane's holster, it's a basic nylon pancake holster. I believe his model is a Gunmate, but those are discontinued. Uncle Mike's sells a version that's very similar and more adjustable than the one on the show:

I haven't posted before but have been watching for sometime and have completed my costume. So much has been contributed to this subject and there are so many people to thank I don't know where to start but a major thanks goes to Skruffy. Additionally, I finally have something noteable to contribute. If it isn't already common knowledge, I discovered the maker of the Walking Dead gun Bag in season 1 and fortunately it is still available. Below are the details. I'm about 95% on this. Any input would be appreciated.
